Oh my goodness. I love this beautiful restaurant! It is so elegant and vintage. The food is amazing and authentic French cuisine- lots of butter! Wonderful experience. Great cappuccino too! My husband and I each ordered a dish and they split them for us so we could share. Yum! Definitely a treat for us - recommend! Oh, book a table before you go also!

I LOVED this place. For a nice restaurant you wouldn’t think the serving size would be a good amount. Think again. Big portion sizes and amazing food. Come see the server Austin, he took great care of us all night. Thinking I’m coming back tomorrow

We had an incredible anniversary dinner at La Belle Helene. We arrived around 7:56 PM and were initially offered a high-top, which we politely declined. After about a 20-minute wait, they completely made up for it by seating us in a private room in the back—such a thoughtful touch that made our evening feel extra special and intimate. The meal started with the Gougeres, which were a light buttery bite. We followed with the escargot, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked. For our mains, we had the Duck a l’Orange and the Bouillabaisse—both dishes came out hot, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. To finish the night, we shared the Le Citron for dessert—a stunning and unique lemongrass mousse that was as delicious as it was creative. What truly stood out was the service. Our server, Phillip, was kind, attentive, and answered all of our questions with care. The manager also went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience, and that really warmed my heart. If you’re looking for a romantic, elevated dining experience in Uptown, La Belle Helene is the place. I can’t wait to come back.

Spectacular food and wine selection in a very elegant set up. Most of the guests are quite dressy which makes the atmosphere extra eye pleasing and fun. The complimentary cheese puff is sooo good! Goes super well with the food. Service is okay

Very nice spot for a special occasion. Food is really good. We ordered pancakes and they were absolutely delicious. I would recommend the onion and bacon omelette and the steak burger l.

Brunch was great. The croissants were perfect and the omelets were massive. We all had a different omelet and everyone loved them. The coffees and mimosas were great. Service was slow at first then very attentive. The restaurant is so cute. I like the private rooms for larger groups. It wasn't loud. I'll definitely be back.

We stopped by this charming French restaurant for lunch during a recent trip to Charlotte, drawn in by the glowing reviews—and we weren’t disappointed. The space is beautiful and tastefully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere for dining. The lunch menu is reasonably priced, and everything we tried was enjoyable. The highlight for me was definitely the dessert—absolutely delicious! One small suggestion: it would be great if the French onion soup came in a smaller portion as an option, as it was quite salty and a bit too much for one person to finish. Overall, a satisfying and memorable experience.

Gorgeous restaurant with a French inspired menu. This has become my favorite restaurant for a special occasion. Delicious entrees, great service, and the lemon dessert is truly one of the most creative desserts I’ve seen. Great restaurant to have in Charlotte.
